Beacon Glen
Beacon Glen was a full vacant home staging project in the FishHawk Garden District This home was a mix of polished Southern charm that met an earthy, livable palette to showcase the beautiful Garden District Home. We transformed an empty home into a warm, aspirational space filled with light, comfort, and style.
Scope
Full Vacant Home Staging
Design planning, furniture and décor selection, delivery, installation. Staged spaces included the main living areas, kitchen, dining room, office, primary suite, baths, upstairs loft, and front porch.
Design Notes
Classic Southern palette with sage + olive greens, terracotta/clay, creamy whites, and warm wood tones
Metals in matte black and aged bronze for depth
Layered textiles (vintage‑style rug, linen, woven textures) to soften tile floors and add warmth
Furnishings scaled for flow between living, dining, and kitchen
Styling centered on approachable, family‑forward living (plants, books, baskets)
Styled Spaces
Entryway
A welcoming vignette framed by lush landscaping and a jewel green front door sets the tone. The bench, layered pillows, and lantern create a charming first impression that instantly feels like home.
Office
Crisp and inviting, this front office features shiplap walls, warm wood tones, and floral upholstery for a refined Southern work-from-home retreat. The layout captures both natural light and symmetry for stunning photography.
Living Room + Kitchen
The heart of the home blends a creamy slipcovered sofa with terracotta pillows, an olive lumbar, and a vintage‑style patterned rug. A warm wood coffee table and greenery add life. The open kitchen features white cabinetry, black counters, stainless appliances, and a small butcher‑block island—a clean backdrop that lets our earthy palette shine.
Dining Area
A simple wood table with black spindle chairs and an industrial three‑light bronze pendant. A woven runner and botanical arrangement soften the lines and tie to the terracotta/green story.
Loft
An airy upstairs flex space staged for family life—modern geometric rug, white armless sofa with sage and blush pillows, book ledges, a cozy faux‑fur chair, and oversized barn artwork for farmhouse charm.
Primary Suite
Tranquil and timeless: layered white bedding with a sage/terracotta floral pillow mix, warm wood tones, and soft lighting. The neutral area rug and art create a calm retreat.
Bathroom
A true showstopper: freestanding soaking tub, patterned encaustic‑look tile in soft blue‑grey, dual wood vanity with matching mirrors, and bronze fixtures. Minimal styling keeps the focus on craftsmanship and finishes.
Strategic Highlights
Lifestyle staging to help families picture themselves at home
Cohesive color flow for visual calm and a sense of continuity
Refined furnishings to elevate a vacant space without overpowering
Attention to detail in lighting, scale, and texture to highlight architectural strengths
